Welcome to the Members Area of the Garrick Club Website
To Login to your Member Account you will need to click 'Accept Cookies' below.
We are now open and we look forward to welcoming members back to the Club. As we all continue to adapt to the situation, members can still access the content that was added during the lockdown to “While We Are Closed”, and we will continue to add more.
Here you will find details of our home delivery service - “At Home With The Garrick”. Prepared by Garrick Chefs in the Club kitchens, until August we will continue to offer a weekly menu of selected Club dishes suitable for preparation and reheating at home, along with a choice of wines from the wine list, especially chosen to accompany your meal. Members can choose from two or three courses per person, for up to a maximum of eight people and deliveries will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays each week. We are also offering a “wine by the case” delivery service and details can be found in “Wine Delivery”.
While the Club remained closed, the General Committee agreed that the candidates they have agreed can be put forward for ballot in the coming months could be displayed on the Club’s website and this will continue for now: these can be found in “While We Are Closed” in “Garrick Candidates for Ballot” .
In “While We Are Closed”, there are various other categories - memorable moments in “Garrick Performances”, brainteasers in “Garrick Puzzles”, articles about the Club’s various collections in “Treasures from the Archive”, “Suggestions and Recommendations”, “Recipes” and “Cocktails”.
Many members have asked about the Club staff, so we decided to share a special recording with you, which can also be viewed on the Home page of “While We Are Closed” - From all of us to all of you.
In the main section of the website you are able to access all the latest Club information, as well as book places for Club events, contact other members, book bedrooms, make private party reservations and access information on the Club’s works of art and Library. We also have information on all our reciprocal Clubs that members are able to visit.
Garrick Library and Art Collections
The Library and Art Collections of the Club are now available in the public area of the website. Go to the “Public Entrance” and click the “Collections” link and follow this to the “Online Catalogue”. Here you can choose a combined search of both the Library and Art Collection, or chose just one or the other. The catalogue includes books, manuscripts and ephemera from the Library, together with paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, memorabilia, photographs and ceramics. To date there are upwards of 17,000 items, but as cataloguing continues this number will rise.
The Club has commissioned a second collection of postcards showing details of paintings from the art collection. These are in addition to the first collection, which includes details of paintings as well as items from the archive. All of the postcards are available individually and both sets are available in packs of a dozen, which cost £5.50 for a set of 12. Individual postcards cost £0.50 each.
The postcards are available from the Secretary’s Office. To download a PDF of the images, please see the item “Garrick Postcards” under “Latest News”.
